Welcome to Gonzales County E.M.S. / Rescue's Web site.

     Gonzales County is located in south central Texas, with a primarily agricultural economic base. We are a third service organization providing the citizens of Gonzales County  with Emergency Medical Services, and Rescue services. We operate three stations in the county, staffed 24-7 with ALS personnel. We presently run six ambulances, two rescue trucks, and two wheelchair vans, as well as a Swift Water Rescue Team. We also, in cooperation with Gonzales Co. Sheriff's Dept., maintain a mobile Command Center in order to insure the citizens of Gonzales County continue to receive the highest level of Emergency Services, even in disaster situations or during major events. 

     GCEMS / Rescue is also dedicated to community safety and education, through numerous first aid and CPR programs. We support Child Safety Awareness programs through the local School Districts, and are involved with the local Shattered Dreams program.

     Our Mission is one of providing the highest quality pre-hospital care that is both cost effective and beneficial to the communities we serve.
